Okay, I ramped my TJ for the first time today, I was slightly dissapointed in the score. It was a 25* ramp and LONG!. As seen in the pictures below, it scores a 664. If I calculated everything right. (I used 93" as the wheel base, correct?)

Here's what I am thinking before I ramp it the next time:
- Adjust front shocks (lower them a little) to allow more droop. They are made for a 2.5" lift, I think.
- Shave about 1" off front bump stops, after I put in the 1" BL, I have tons of clearance there. You can see I'm not near stuffed in the pic.
- Next time go up the ramp just a little more. I was being cautious and I think I could get a little more up without the rear tire coming completely off the ground.

I don't really have the money for any expensive mod's, are there any other low budget mods I can do to get a little more?

I ramped my YJ the first time yesterday. Well not really on a ramp, but me and my friend w/ a bronco stacked up a bunch of bricks in his driveway. It was fun. We didnt measure but i was suprised. I did better than i thought i would, and so did my friend. I am interested in what others say too.

Put a zip tie around the shaft of your front shock a couple of inches from the top (if you have boots take them off or just push them down out of the way), then ramp your rig again. Come down off the ramp and look at how much space is left between the zip tie and the top of the shock. This tells you how much you can remove from your bump-stops. With poly bump-stops leave an extra 1/4" for hard compression. With the stock rubber bump-stops leave 3/4" extra.
If you have returned the bump-stops to stock and you still have lots of extra shock travel then look at ways to lengthen the shock. BPEs on the bottom or stud extenders on the top are the usual ways to do it.

Was your front sway bar disconnected? It really hurts your flex, plus flexing with it on will destroy the top joints.

Your rear flex looks about right, but your front isn't moving enough. With a 2" lift and long travel shocks I score 900 on a 20 degree using the plumb-line method and 1000 using a square.
