sorry If it sounds like I am bragging I am just so excited. I was expecting a 800 or so.
Here is what I got;
OME coils
934 front
940 rear plus .8" anthonys spacer
total lift 1.8"
Skyjacker Long travel shocks
(10.5" travel)
These are made for 4-5" lifted ZJ's
Before anyone asks yes they do work, and no they are not to long. They are perfect.
I ran with sway bars completely disconected front and rear.
Tires at 30 psi.

Damn, way to go. Just one thing you might want to think about. Is that although RTI is nice, it won't help you if you centered out, or if you're driving through snow or deep water. The thing is, sometimes it's better to have big tires with the clearance and give up to flex. A 904 is great but that doesn't mean your jeeps better off road than mine. I'm not putting words in your mouth, I ramped just under 900, but I'd much rather have big tires and give up a little flex, but that's just me. Way to go seems you got your jeep built up the way you want it.

Please tell us what degree ramp you got your RTI score on. I'm guessing 20*.

This is where we are trying to figure out how a ZJ with a 1.8" lift can do the same as this rig in the link with 30* ramp.
No one is flaming just trying to learn more.

I scored a 904 on a 20 degree ramp. I read the post, I have to say that the 20 is not an inaccurate ramp, it just is less severe than the 30. I ramp a 600 on the 30. No it is not as good as that TJ's score. I was there on saturday and saw him. I also saw the yellow zj ramp a 500 he talked of. My point is that I ramped a very good score for a mildly lifted, excellent riding vehicle. I spent 300 for my suspension system. I went from a 525 on the 20 to a 904. Not to bad for 300 bucks. How much did the TJ spend????? Not 300, I know I saw his custom long arm setup.
As far as you needing lots of lift for flex, that is crap. I know with flex arms and a adjustable trac bar. I could probably pull 700 or 800 on the 30. The point is, that if you carefully select your parts you can build a good offroader for cheap.
As far as you and everybody else not believing me, That is just plain stupid. I have better things to do with my time than come on here and talk a bunch of lies. I have pictures But I am now witholding them. I dont need to prove anything. You either believe me or not. I just wanted to help other Jeepers understand the importance of picking the correct parts. I included my parts list, so others could get some ideas.
By the way If you are in Utah, I would be more than happy to ramp my Jeep right in front of you and show you it.

I totally believe you, I'm just saying that flex isn't everything off road. You don't need flex if you have lockers. Actually the more I build my jeep the more I realize flex is way overrated. It just makes for good pictures. you could also run 31's and get like a 900 instead they wouldn't hurt you much and your jeep would rock off road. BTW I ramp 911...my suspension set up was 200 plus shocks...so 450...you got me beat on budget. I still say lets see the pics, that kinda flex is impressive.

Hold on there champ, I'm not belittling your ramp score at all. This stems from another discussion (not flame) that I was having with another ZJ'er. I just wanted to know what angle the ramp was at, so I could get a perspective on the score. Nothing more. I totally believe that you scored a 904 on a 20*, that is impressive.
We're not out to get you. We were just exchanging ideas, comments. That's great that you can build a nice offroader without tons of $$$. Believe it or not, my custom long arm setup wasn't that expensive either.

I did not mean to sound like I did not believe you. I wanted to know if you did this on a 30* ramp. Seriously don't take offense. I was impressed and was sharing this with the TJ Guy. I was just wondering if you have such a big setup like his if flex becomes less important. Flex is obvioously important if you don't have a locker and huge lift.
