Im getting a squeek with the rotation of the left front wheel. I'm thinking that my 92K mile ZJs caliper isnt releasing all the way since the squeek stops when the brake is applied. Does this sound right?
Any thoughts on getting this to stop besides replacing/rebuilding the caliper?
I was going to pull off the pads and relube with brake squeal stuff first but if the caliper isn't releasing, then obviously the squeal goo will do no good.
Any ideas on a quick fix or is this gonna mean a new caliper?

Hubs were replaced at 64K and since there sealed & not repairable. I dont think its that.

Thanks!

I don't know that I would assume it is the calipers. If you can compress them easily with a C-clamp or large pair of pliers without too much effort, then it is most likely not that. If you know your pads are still healthy maybe you have a stone stuck between your backing plate and rotor, or maybe a cracked pad. A new caliper is pretty cheap though if you want to just replace them (do them both if you do them at all). I think around $20 or less each rebuilt.

I replaced both of mine for 42.00 with tax. Only because one of mine stuck.
