Gas Tank Question

Well to start off i think i have a bad tank. Was thinking of replacing the darn thing. What is a stock tank size 10 gal?


Anyhow i was thinking of getting a fuel safe cell and mounting it bed of the jeep. Anyone ever heard of this? It would be safe for off roading almost a no chance of hitting a rock (unless you roll over), they have the fuel bladders so a bouncy ride would safer, :twisted: and it makes a "Killer" back seat :twisted: I was thinking somewhere along the lines of a 15 gal or so.

Thoughts or ideas?

I think a stock tank is 14.8 gallons. As for putting the fuel cell in the Jeep...well there's no room in there to begin with. Why would you take up that space with a tank?

I dont have to many friends for one and all the stuff i take camping could fit very easy with the cell in the back. I was just look at different options because i think my tank has a few issues.

The only problem with mounting a cell in a cab, is that a fuel tank has a vent. You must put the vent outside the vehicle or you risk a massive fire hazard, as well as a fume hazard.
