WJ: Clicking in Steering Wheel Column

I just had my 2000 WJ in the dealer to fix a couple of warranty issues. One of them was a clicking that I have coming from my steering column. When the Jeep was done he said that the clicking was actually normal. They scientificly came up with this by checking another Jeep. The dealership said that it is not a problem and would never cause any safety issues. Does anyone else have this problem? Can this be fixed?

I have a 99 WJ and I think share your "non-problem"

When I turn the wheel back and fourth quickly when the vehicle is parked I hear and feel a definite clunk/click.

Jeep said they couldn't find anything wrong.

I do not remember hearing or feeling it when I first bought the truck though.
