Changes for 2003 Liberty:

-rear disk brakes
-optional overhead console.
-in dash 6-disk cd player
-optional electrochromic mirrors
-softer steering
-changed shock valving (don't know what the change is)
-optional 17" wheels

Not sure what the mirrors have to do with height, but there's no change from 2nd half of last year.
