I need some last minute help on tires;
I am looking at the Yokohama Geolander at+ and
the Pirelli Scorpion at.

I need a tire that rides good and is quiet on the road (as good as an all terrain tire can be).

I have cofidence that either of these tires will be good off road. So it comes down to four variables

1 Which of the two ride the best?
2 Which of the two are the most quiet?
3 Which of the two wear the best?
4 Which of the two have the best "on-road feel"?

I know this is something that has been discussed thoroughly, but I am so stumped. I figure that there are probably a lot more people with experiences with these tires. At least more so than a year ago.

I am leaning to the Yoko's. Mostly because it seems to look a little more aggresive, and they are a little taller for their given size. I am looking at 30X9.50 R15, I have 1.8" lift. So I desire a "taller 30. But I don't want to go up to a 31. The yokohamas measure 29.8" Pirellis 29.6".

This post is getting way too long, sorry! Please give me opinions. I am counting on you the Jeep drivers.

I love my Yoko's, I have their tires on every vehicle I own! My AT+'s have about 18K on them and I have only rotated them 1 time at about 10K and they still have at least 3/4 's of the tread left!
Just my .02

I loved my Scorpions!!! They rode great on the street and gripped like mad in the rain. They were good in the snow and amazingly pretty ok in the mud (not much around here though).

Off-road the kicked major a$$. I would still have them if I hadn't lifted my XJ further in the sky.

Right now my 33s look little owith the amount of lift I have.

I think either is fine. I prefer the Scorpions.
