Hey guys, in the next few days (OK, it will probably be weeks) the ILJ staffers will be going through the member's rig section looking for folks to highlight as Featured Rigs on the main ILJ site. We will also be looking for folks who are interested in becoming ILJ Project Rigs.

Project Rigs will include write-ups on mods, product reviews and other tech articles based on that Jeep.

As far as project rigs go if anyone would like to volunteer that would be great. We actually only have 2 volunteer staff writers currently so if you would like to write up some tech articles and product reviews of things on your rig that would be great.

Let me know if you are interested in being a Project Rig, the staffers will pick Featured Rigs and that section will be updated monthly.

If you're interested, I can write something up about the Leach headers install for the 4.0 I6, and for Anthony's BB. You'll have to proof-read it though, since I'm not that fluent in English.

That would be great Tommy. To be honest, I would have never known that English wasn't your native language if you hadn't said anything.

BTW did you get your stickers yet?

Not yet, but I bet they'll come in today, or early next week. I'll let you know.

How do you want the articles? ASCII, HTML, RTF, MS Word? Pics?

Plain ole text is just fine. Word docs will work, whatever. Pics would be great if you have 'em.

I will have the folks here take a look. More than likely it will be Kevin (Alien) then Kurt since we have had an XJ up there for quite a while.

You guys with the YJs and ZJs get in the action, you could be the first ever YJ, ZJ/WJ or CJ to be featured.

Tiff,

You can use my TJ if you like. You be the judge when you visit next month. I'll be doing write-ups on all my mods for my own personal website but I'm more than happy to share with others.

To be brutaly honest, and no offence to anyone, I think your English is better that many of us, myself included, who speak it as a first language

Send all that if you want. the more info you send the more work i will put into the page. If you send me enough info I will make your TJ (any Jeep) into an ILJ Project Vehicle. That basically means that your Jeep will have its own section which will include pictures and all the write-ups on your rig.

Sorry it took me so long to repsond, but I have been kinda busy trying to actually have a life...it's just not working though.

Yeah, it is pretty. So pretty that I went out and got one of my own! I swear, I lose my Maglite at least once every couple of years. Then I buy a new one, and lose it! I had a 5-cell for a while. Great light. A former roommate of mine had a 6...huge, but really freakin' bright.

I'll volunteer my ZJ as a featured rig. It might be a good one to use as a project rig since I didn't buy a complete lift for it. I did the front to rear swap. I get quite a few e-mails from other ZJ owners who surfed onto my web page asking me what mods I did for the swap.

Hi Tiff,

I will do an ARB install with 4.56 gears and disc brakes in my new Dana 44-3 and swap it into my TJ in early June.
Body lift, motor lift and BellyUp install will be done too!
If you like the idea I can also snap some very detailed photos of everything, before, during and after the install.

Sounds really cool Lauti. I would love to have that info on the site.

Also wanted to apologize to everyone, I have not had a chance to do ANYTHING on the main site...work has become a major bear and my time is being sucked away by that. I hope to do some work on the site while I am in Boise since I will be relaxing.

Will keep y'all posted.

If you guys could e-mail me pics and specs that would help me a lot...Thanks!!!!!

Tiff,

I am about to start a spring over on my YJ and was wondering if you wanted some info on it and if so, what do I need to do to get it to you. The project should start near the end of this month and will include installation of RE's SOA kit, Advanced Adapters SYE kit, CV rear drive shaft, and 33 inch tires. I can also write up how I did my home made rocker protection and Flat Fender project also. Let me know if this sounds interesting to you and I will get started. Keep on Jeepin.

Eric
