Things are a bit slow on here, and while I don't want to be O/T, I do want some opinions.

I am about to add a ARB and some other stuff to my WJ. Please tell me what you think about the following:

:D Should I paint the ARB Sienna to match my WJ, or should I leave it black powder coat?

My first thought was to paint it, but Sienna scratches real easy. I also think that the black powder coat would match my roof rack and rock rails.

:D Should I reaplace my stock Limited grille with a chrome Laredo grille?

In 2000 the the Limited's grille is attached to the bumper, so it will have to be cut, in order to keep it. The bottom of the fascia is torn up, so it's not a big deal to cut it. It would be easier to go with the Laredo grille.

:D Should I have my white letters turned in?

They are out for now, and I like them that way. It's just that they are getting torn up and they are a bugger to clean.

Thanks for your input, it helps to clarify my vision.

Great forum, I hope that it stays this way.

TXWJ,
I'll be waiting to see pic's of the ARB! I think I would paint it to match if you are keeping the stock rear bumper. I love the Siena red, thats the color my wife got her's in!
As for the grill, Ronners TrailReady looks sweet with the laredo grill...
And I just prefer black out

Did you ever get all of your lights wired up?

TXWJ, If trail hazards are your concern, a black ARB, chrome grille, and black sides out sounds like the way to go. Your 2000 limited grille is the one without the chrome inserts, right? I like that one best! That would look nice with the painted ARB. I don't think you can go wrong either way!

TXWJ-
Ronner's ride looks great with the painted TR bumper. But personally I like the black look of bumpers, rock rails, roof racks, etc....it give a nice utilitarian touch to the refined WJ/ZJ without making it look like much of a show vehicle. Either way, I'd probably go with the Laredo grill and save the Limited grill if you ever go back to stock or decide to sell the OEM bumper and grill as a package to somone.

I'va always liked the white letters out. I think either would look good but everyone has a preference. Especially if the trails are making it difficult to keep clean and looking good.

Good luck and your ride looks SWEEEET!.
