i am about to put 4.5 inches of lift on my XJ but i don't have much money.
could i get by with using the stock LCAs, UCAs, and track bar for a few
months untill i can come up with the dough??

You more than likely will have to re-drill the axle mount for the trac bar to re-center the axle. 3/4" from center.

I still run stock LCA's with 4" lift and have seen others run at 4.5 to 5" with stock.

I'm in the same boat too. Saving pennies for LCA's.

Yeah, same here, I'm running stock arms with 6", you might want to cut the shock mount back off so you can get a little more flex, I am also saving for some new arms, hopefully can get em soon, I still have a little DW and it's probably from that. Go to Jeepin.com and look at the "SUPERFLEX" article in the features for details on where to cut the mount off. HTH! :)
