So all you ZJ guys who are doing lifts make sure you let the SWB guys know. :)
The higher spring rate of the ZJ coils is perfect for a TJ with a heavy bumper and winch.

So when I put on my wifes 3.5" lift I can give the springs to some one with a TJ and tell them it will give them a 2" lift? Is that front and rear? Just curious, I know acouple of guys that would like to have them then and it would keep another corner of my garage open too LOL.

It only works for the front springs, but a rear 2" spacer to match is only $30.00.

If you were to put ZJ V8 springs on a TJ that doesn't have a really heavy bumper and winch then the TJ would ride really rough.

I've been told that ZJ I6 springs give the same 2" lift but are only slighty heavier than TJ springs, so they would be good for someone with a lighter bumper and winch combo. I have not tested this though, it is second hand info.

OK well when I give them away I will keep that in mind. I will probably be putting them on anyways so we will see if it is true later this summer. XXJ

Chris,
COOL Glad to hear it worked out. I wouldn't have guessed there was 2" of lift in those springs. I know the V8 is heavier than the 6 but the TJ has a heavier frame. Your experiment should open up a whole new low budget lift for the TJ.
