Apparently Explorer Pro Comp has created yet another tire. It has cheveron styled lugs and appears to be more aggressive than their MTR. The sidewalls appear to have some protective treadwork. 2 or 3 ply? I don't know, however, I liked the look, and since I will be in the market for tires soon enough, I just may get a set to try them out. Anyone else heard any news on this tire? I forget the name, but I'm thinking it is something like Xtreme or, well I just don't remember. Let me know, ROKSURF

Yeah! I saw those in one of my mags (I forget which one though), they looked pretty tough. Although, the best tires I have had on my XJ are the Kelley Safari DTR's, they have a center channel, so they clean really well in the mud, they are soft, and the grip the rocks really well too. But if you get those, I'd like to know how they work.

I saw the tread pattern in JP magazine...looks cool. But I have seen in person the new Interco TruXus tires and those look awesome!!!!
they have limited sizes right now but I am hoping that they will follow their trend and make them in a 33x10.50 size. If not then I will pick up the 33x12.50s wehn they come out and just deal with it.
They look great. If I can get over to 4WPW this afternoon then I wil take some pics and post them.

I don't think those new Pro-Comps are in production yet.
I LOVE the look of the new TRXUS Mud Terrains. Sign me up for a set of those when my BFGs wear out. :D:D:D

I saw them, Pro Comps, in the last issue of JP, they look mean, but the lugs look awfully big. I wonder if they will have some of the same problems as the other huge lugged tires such as the Thornbirds have??? Just a thought.
